July 18th - On July 31st we will be holding a Fun Fly / BBQ. Bring a favorite side dish or desert. Prizes will be awarded for 1st ($30) 2nd ($20) and 3rd ($10), based on a point system. [ flyer ]
May 31st - Thanks to the few people who showed up to help put the Forest festival float together and Thanks to Jody and Sharon Diaz for supplying the trailer and lunch.
We are going to do a public day on June 12th, weather permitting, and we are hosting a two day Pylon race June 26th and 27th. We could sure use help for both events. This months newsletter has been posted.
May 15th - On May 29th we will be putting the Forest Festival parade float together at Jody's house. We'll start around 10:00am and will have hot dogs for lunch. We need lots of aircraft so if you wish to contribute bring as many as you can. We will put the float together, take some pictures then take it back apart. We meet downtown the morning of the parade and put it back together. The Parade starts at 10:00am.
We are hosting another props pylon race this month on Sunday the 23rd, please come out and help if you can.
April 15 - Our Swap meet is this weekend at the High School Sub. Set up at 8:00am doors open at 9:00am. Check out the events page for more info.

Mar 9th - I've added another swap meet on the Other Events page (thanks Eric). I'm not sure which club is hosting but there is an address on the application.
Jan 19th - The FAA has released a NOTAM/TFR reguarding model airplanes. Because of the upcoming olympics, you can't fly model airplanes in the extreme northwest area of the state. To read the NOTAM go [ HERE ] (see item i). To see the map of the proscribed area go [ HERE ].
Jan 13th - I just want to remind everyone that if you need a roster, email me and I'll send you one.
Jan 12th - It appears the Car clubs have scheduled their events for the year. There are confirmed dates posted for the pylon races this year also. See the Events page for the changes.

We have gone back to a combination lock on the main gate, the combo is on the back of your club card. Please return your old key.
Due to a scheduling snafu with the PUD auditorium the meeting in January (only) will be on the FIRST Thursday of the month, next month will be back to the normal second Thursday of the month.
We had a larger than normal group at the annual first fly of the year. Dick Robb had the honors of the first flight of the year. The weather cooperated long enough for everyone who wanted to, to get a flight or two in.
